Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and build rapport. Take orders accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and presentation techniques. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during beverage preparation. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist in training new staff members as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bartending or restaurant role is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members alike.
