Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items as requested by customers. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with bartending techniques and drink preparation. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills are required for handling cash transactions accurately.
