Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our close-knit, vibrant team. As a Bartender and server, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, serving food, and ensuring that all customers receive excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, employing basic math skills for payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Manage time effectively to meet the demands of a busy bar environment while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a bartending or serving role. Strong hospitality skills with an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure setting.
Candidates must have weekend availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
