Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender/Restaurant Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking bookings, serving beverages, taking food orders, serving food, and ensuring that our bar and restaurant are welcoming and well-maintained.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Maintain an efficient workflow during busy periods while managing time effectively.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers. Experience in serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals accurately. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with bar operations. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
