Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and prompt service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Engage with guests to enhance their experience, providing recommendations and addressing any concerns promptly Follow food safety standards and maintain hygiene protocols at all times

Skills

Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment, preferably as a Bartender or in a similar role Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently under pressure Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Effective time management to ensure timely service during peak hours Friendly personality with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse customers including Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
