Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your role will involve mixing drinks, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic maths for tab calculations. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels at the bar. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential. A solid understanding of food safety practices is required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling payments and tab calculations are necessary. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
