Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to process transactions efficiently. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards. Provide recommendations on menu items, including special dishes and drinks, showcasing your knowledge of the restaurant offerings. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests for assistance or additional items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with restaurant policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their dining experience. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Bartending experience is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25-14.42 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
