Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring the bar area maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including sanitising equipment and glassware regularly. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change. Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service in line with food safety regulations. Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong understanding of food safety regulations related to beverage service. Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner. Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Proven ability in time management to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts. A personable attitude with excellent communication skills suitable for engaging with diverse guests.
