Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and reporting any shortages or issues to management. Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently handling multiple tasks during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with the industry. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards. Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service during peak hours. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are vital for success in this role.
