Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments are essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Experience in guest services will be beneficial for enhancing the overall dining experience. A background in serving or kitchen roles will provide a solid foundation for success in this position.
