We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised dining area. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or order pad. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction is advantageous.

Pay: 12.21-19.17 per hour
