Job Overview

As a Bar & Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service across the bar and clubhouse. This role requires flexibility, including

evening and weekend working

, and is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied hospitality role.

Thursday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

Welcome members and guests, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve drinks including beers, wines, spirits, coffees, and soft drinks

Food Service:

Assist with serving food, clearing tables, and supporting smooth service alongside kitchen staff

Cash Handling:

Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly

Bar Maintenance:

Keep bar and service areas clean, stocked, and organised

Teamwork:

Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and enjoyable service

Compliance:

Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations

Upselling & Promotion:

Promote specials and menu items where appropriate

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Maintain high standards of personal presentation and workplace cleanliness

What We're Looking For

Must be 18 or over. Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred (training provided) Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, flexible, and a team player Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to work evenings, weekends, and during busy periods
