Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any inquiries or needs they may have. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and your passion for culinary excellence will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A keen interest in culinary arts and knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed for smooth operations. Must be 18 years old or older to serve on the bar

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
