Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff/waiting on member to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include serving beverages, running food to tables, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar/kitchen area. The ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, Mothers/Fathers Day and bank holidays is essential.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent guest experiences by engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between the bar and kitchen areas.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills related to food and beverage service.
