Job Description

We are looking for full and part time bar and waiting staff to join our team at the Braeside Bar & Restaurant.

The Role:

Applicants need to have the ability to work under pressure within a team

Excellent communication skills with our team and our customers

High standards of attention to detail

Till operation and cash handling

Taking customer food and drink orders

Serving food, desserts and drink to customers

Clearing tables

Ensuring eating areas are clean and tidy for our customers

Assisting with opening and closing duties

Duties typically include serving food and beverages, taking orders and keeping the bar area clean and well-stocked.

Must be flexible and be able to work a variety of shifts, Thursday till Sunday.

Bar & waiting experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Must be over 18 years old due to the serving alcohol

The service team would be required to complete the following tasks: -

Preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Using a till to take orders and process payments Checking customers identification and age verification Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed Serving food and snack Clearing tables, wiping surfaces and operating the dishwasher to ensure ample glassware is available
