Job Overview:

We are busy pub and restaurant and seeking a dedicated Server to join our team in providing excellent service to our local lovely customers. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional products
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed

- Assist in pot washing if needed
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the restaurant and bar area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service

- Dealing with bill payments

- Operating the till and cash handling

- Preparing the bar and restaurant for service: Filling condiments/laying tables/polishing cutlery etc.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar / restaurant
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help where needed
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
