Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills are required. Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
