Overview


We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and have a keen interest in the culinary and hospitality industry. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role. The position is paid, with a focus on delivering outstanding service and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment.

Responsibilities



Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted and accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide knowledgeable recommendations to encourage upselling of menu items and specials Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and promptly addressing any concerns or requests Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, side stations, and service utensils Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Qualifications



Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner Good communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes Experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus but not required A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
