Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate orders and provide detailed information about menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and processing payments. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the restaurant environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. A passion for guest services with a friendly disposition. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is an advantage but not essential. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team setting.
