We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Bartender/Waiter, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests feel welcome and satisfied throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or specials. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction. Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen operations.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
