Job Overview

We are seeking EXPERIENCED, reliable and enthusiastic Bar/Waiting staff to join our vibrant team on a casual basis.

This will be to provide cover during busy periods such as school holidays, Christmas, Easter, Summer and for events such as Weddings and Band Nights

Applicants must have previous experience in either bar work or as waiting staff! And will be added to a WhatsApp group were shifts will be offered on an as and when basis

You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced bar and restaurant environment. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest queries effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest services. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in serving roles. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing bills accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour
