Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team. As a Front Of House team member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all food and beverage items are served promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary knowledge, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to upsell menu items effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or by hand. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Handle cash and card transactions accurately while following company policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a pub, restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a positive attitude. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
