Superstar Sports are seeking a dedicated Basketball Coach to join our Southampton team and inspire players to achieve their full potential on and off the court.

Superstar Sports Basketball Academy allows young and enthusiastic children to partake in grassroots basketball. We also offer routes into the CVL SABA League, Saturday League and Summer League, plus lots of friendlies for development and CVL standard.

We offer 4 development areas classed as academies, and then the children will have a chance to get drafted into the CVL SABA league team from this.

Superstar Sports Basketball Club are affiliated with Basketball England and enter teams into the CVL SABA at Under 10,12,14 and 16's.

We are looking for a well rounded basketball coach with previous experience coaching Grassroots basketball with the drive to further the massive potential the club has to offer. We are able to offer L1 and L2 Officiating and coaching courses to allow you to grow as a basketball coach.

Duties:

- Develop and implement effective training sessions to improve players' skills and teamwork

- Plan and organise team strategies for games and competitions

- Motivate and educate players on sportsmanship, discipline, and commitment

- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance

- Monitor player progress and adjust coaching techniques accordingly

Qualifications:

- Experience in sports coaching, particularly in basketball

- Ability to educate and mentor players effectively

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Passion for basketball and developing young athletes
