Job Title: Basketball Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Basketball Coach to train, guide, and mentor players in developing their basketball skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coach will be responsible for planning practice sessions, developing game strategies, and fostering a positive and competitive environment that supports both athletic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct basketball training sessions.

Teach players fundamental and advanced basketball techniques, rules, and strategies.

Develop game plans and lead the team during competitions.

Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.

Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship on and off the court.

Monitor players' physical fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being.

Ensure safety protocols and injury-prevention practices are followed.

Collaborate with school/club administration and communicate with parents (if applicable).

Recruit and develop new talent for the team.

Maintain sports equipment and ensure facilities are used responsibly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a Basketball Coach or player at competitive levels.

Strong knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.

Ability to mentor athletes and instill discipline and teamwork.

First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
