Overview


We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fitter to join our bathroom fitting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various technical trades, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring precision, technical expertise, and a proactive approach. The successful applicant will be responsible for removal. assembling, installing BRAND new bathroom suits. a wide range of tools and techniques. This position is paid and suitable for individuals with experience in plumbing and aqua panelling/panelling.

This particular contract is In client Hagley and we need at least 4 months of labour for this but may possibly extend to full time basis due to further works being acquired at same and secondary sites.

Responsibilities



Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently Install all components including first and second fix of bathroom installation processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high safety standards Assist with construction painting, plastering, masonry work, and other related tasks as needed Follow health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks on site Maintain organised work areas and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use

Requirements



Proven experience in construction-related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for accurate assembly and installation Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery Knowledge of construction painting and plastering techniques is desirable Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 200.00 per day
