Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bathroom Fitter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and renovating kitchen and bathroom fixtures and surfaces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties



Install kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, and appliances with precision and attention to detail Fit bathroom fixtures including bathtubs, showers, toilets, vanities, and related plumbing components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to complete installations efficiently Perform surface preparation such as drywalling, plastering, caulking, and finishing for seamless results Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate schedules and project timelines Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, or framing as needed

Skills



Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles Extensive experience with fixture installation including cabinetry, glass installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring (preferred), and general construction techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming equipment, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation Ability to perform construction estimating and inspection tasks accurately Familiarity with materials such as stucco, plastering compounds, masonry components, flooring materials, and tile products Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and working with heavy equipment Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 150.00-250.00 per day
