Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in multiple trades. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Bathroom Fitter will be responsible for ensuring that all installations and repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety. We require applicants to only apply if they can demonstrate evidence of previous work with contactable references and existing customers. We strive to be the best and we require a very high standard from all of our team.

Our work is spread around North & Mid Cornwall and parts of SW Devon so the applicant must be willing to travel around to where our projects are.

Responsibilities



Install, repair, and maintain bathroom installations, ensuring a high end finish is produced every time. Perform plumbing tasks including installation of pipes, fixtures, and fittings. Have the ability and experience to

tile

to a high standard including

mitering edges of tiles

. Ability to self manage and liaise with the other team members where needed. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Engage in fabrication processes to create custom components as needed. Carry out carpentry work including framing, installing doors, and cabinetry. Interpret schematics to ensure accurate installations and repairs. Perform plastering tasks to finish walls and ceilings to a high standard. Must have own tools and power tools to preform all your duties, some specialised tools will be provided where necessary. Conduct construction painting & decorating to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.

Qualifications



Proven experience in bathroom fitting,

tiling

, plumbing, carpentry, or other relevant trades is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely is essential. Strong understanding of construction principles and practices is required. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately is necessary for this role. Previous experience in plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, or construction painting will be considered an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail are crucial for success in this position. A proactive approach to health and safety regulations is essential.
