Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Bathroom Fitter

for an

Immediate start

for the right candidate to provide cover within our team at Nick Taylor Plumbing Limited. This is initially a short-term role to ensure we maintain high standards and meet customer commitments, with the possibility of a longer-term position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Installation of first fix and second fix plumbing, fitting various plumbing fixtures, including basins, toilets, bath, showers and wet rooms. Carry out general building work, carpentry, tiling and flooring involved in bathroom installation. Read and interpret schematics / technical drawings to ensure accurate installations. Collect materials from suppliers as needed for specific projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Customer service and politeness is crucial. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process. Assist with repairs and maintenance as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within the plumbing or construction industry. Strong skills in the building industry and installation techniques. Full knowledge of using power tools and equipment safely. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plastering is an advantage but not essential.
