Job Opportunity: Experienced Bathroom Fitter for Installations in Essex

We are presently in search of skilled and proficient Bathroom Fitters to work with us via our Approved Installer program. As an Approved Installer for Bowmans your responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient execution of bathroom renovations and installations. You will be responsible for managing a bathroom project from start to finish, including first-fix, second-fix plumbing, carpentry, electrical including underfloor heating electrical laying, screeds & latex, stud work, all aspects of plumbing, plastering, tiling and mastic. You must have the ability to think three steps ahead and plan accordingly to avoid issues before they happen.

How it Works:

As an Approved Installer, we will send you designed and priced jobs as well as handling all your logistics, use of our accounts for materials and installation and project managers to support with customer liaison and practicalities. As such we expect Approved Installers to conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism and deliver high end bathroom projects to the highest possible standard.

Location and Hours:

The job will primarily be based across Essex, occasionally beyond. Monday through Friday.

Bathroom Fitters Duties:

Installation of full bathroom upgrades and wet room conversions Making good in bathrooms Basic electrical knowledge (Spotlights, running in cables for second fix by electrician) Organise subcontractors as required. Efficient communication with management and clients. ALWAYS keeping client and management updated of progress or issues. Final sign off and walk through with customers. Clean and tidy in customers house. (Floor + Dust coverings, rooms protected, curtains protected, Vacuming, wiping surfaces, driweway protected from skip etc...).

Requirements:

Must be able to demonstrate through client referal 2 previous bathroom projects done to a high standard. Must have own Van and tools. Technical skills in plumbing and associated trades Ability to work with plans and drawings Excellent customer service skills (polite, clean & tidy, etc...) Knowledge of the general building and construction industry Full, valid UK manual driving license Knowledge of health and safety

Licence/Certification:

DBS check Public Liability insurance: 5M
