Bathroom Showroom Sales Consultant

Job Purpose

To deliver excellent customer service and drive sales by providing expert advice on bathroom products, designs, and solutions. The role involves engaging with retail and trade customers, supporting them through the design and purchase process, and ensuring the showroom maintains high presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing professional and friendly service.

Advise customers on bathroom products, styles, finishes, and layouts to meet their needs.

Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and follow up on enquiries to convert leads.

Support customers with design solutions, including 2D/3D drawings.

Build strong relationships with both retail and trade customers.

Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on new ranges, trends, and promotions.

Achieve personal and team sales targets.

Ensure the showroom is well presented, stocked, and visually appealing at all times.

Handle after-sales queries and liaise with suppliers or logistics teams as needed.

Person Essential

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, or interiors.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to understand customer requirements and suggest tailored solutions.

Numeracy skills for preparing quotations and handling sales transactions.

IT proficiency.

Self-motivated with a drive to meet sales targets.

Professional appearance and a confident, approachable manner.

Desirable

Knowledge of bathroom products, plumbing basics, or interior design.

Experience using design software.

Established trade customer contacts.

Working Conditions

Full-time role, including Saturdays/Thursday Evenings on a rota basis.

Showroom-based with occasional site visits for trade customers.

May involve some manual handling of product samples.

Performance Indicators

Sales revenue and margin achieved against targets.

Customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Accuracy of quotes, orders, and stock management.

Contribution to showroom presentation and team success.
