Overview

BCU Active are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for getting people active and will provide active opportunites to both staff and students. We are looking for people qualified to instruct the following sessions:

Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Boxercise and Functional Fitness

. This role involves working with students and staff of various ages to promote physical fitness, skill development, and overall well-being in a supportive and engaging environment.

Duties

Develop and implement session plans that cater to the needs of students in their fitness class. Provide instruction and guidance to participants while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and skill development. Assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and form. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive program that meets the needs of all participants. Engage with participants to discuss progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

Personal Trainer Qualification and/or Qualification certificate in the relevent activity Previous experience in teaching or coaching sports is preferred. Strong background in physical education or related fields such as martial arts, swimming, or health club management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with both staff and students. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 5 per week
