Location: Bournemouth

Full Time - Mon-Fri - Flexible working 2 days per week WFH

The Role


The BDR Team Manager leads a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (6 BDRs) responsible for generating qualified sales appointments for Hubexos senior business development team. The role is focused on building a high-energy, customer-focused, results-driven team culture that consistently delivers on pipeline, performance, and revenue goals.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring coaching, strategic thinking, performance management, and a clear understanding of appointment generation and lead qualification within the construction sector.

Principal Job Responsibilities:





Lead and manage a team of BDRs to exceed monthly Meeting Per Appointment (MPA) targets and team KPIs

Drive daily team activity and energy to ensure consistent performance against objectives

Deliver ongoing coaching, development, and monthly performance reviews

Analyse sales performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement

Ensure accurate forecasting and that the sales pipeline remains rich and sustainable

Promote best practices in outreach techniques, including cold calling, email, and social engagement

Maintain team adherence to sales standards, procedures, and compliance expectations

Attract, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring minimal disruption from vacancies

Act as a mentor and role model to develop a winning, value-driven team culture

Support resolution of any interpersonal or performance-related issues

Collaborate closely with senior sales and marketing teams to align goals and activity

Report regularly on team performance and outcomes to senior leadership

What We Are Looking For



Minimum 3 years experience in a team management or leadership role

5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams

Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment

Confident with performance management and holding effective, direct conversations

Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office tools

Knowledge of Hubexos appointment-setting methodology and selection criteria

Understanding of the construction industry and how to win work within it

Strong negotiation and pipeline development skills
