The offer
Full time, March-October
An interest in beachside cafe seafood style dishes.
Experience working in a small kitchen setting.
Take pride in preparing fresh food and local ingredients to cook a variety of dishes with a flare for menu development in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations & procedures.
Stock management, including ordering.
Ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.
Serving food to customers when required, providing excellent customer service with pride.
Weekend availability.
Assist with hospitality events as required - some of which may occur outside normal working times.
You must have;
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, is essential; Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required) and Allergen Training Certificate (preferred). Your knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices are essential.
A genuine interest in customer service & pride in your food tastes & presentation.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork & customers.
The cafe is set in a rural location, so own transport is essential. On-site free parking.
You must be;
over 18yrs.
open & flexible for full time summer seasonal work from March - October. 5 days a week, 8am - 4pm.
Uniform (t-shirt) is provided.
