he Bridge Beautician:
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Grooming Services
Offer skincare treatments like facials, moisturizing
Massages
Waxing and/or Threading
Adapt services to meet the individual needs, preferences, and health conditions of each resident
Maintain dignity, respect, and privacy during all treatments
Communicate effectively with residents, including those with dementia or communication difficulties
Health and Safety Compliance
Follow infection control procedures and hygiene standards
Use products and tools safely and appropriately
Identify and report any signs of skin conditions, infections, or other health concerns to care staff
Provide companionship and boost residents' morale through friendly, respectful interaction
Liaise with care home staff to coordinate appointments around medical care and daily activities
Keep accurate records of services provided and any notable observations
Attend relevant training on working with elderly or vulnerable population
Maintain professional appearance and behaviour
Stay informed about safe, age-appropriate beauty techniques
Respect confidentiality and the care home's policies and procedures
