Maternity Cover Position - January 2026 Start

We are looking for a talented, reliable and enthusiastic beauty therapist with NVQ level 2 & 3 to join us for a minimum 6 month maternity cover position. The ideal person will have at least 2 years experience and able to carry out a high standard of work.

We are looking for someone with a well rounded skill set who can provide the types of services we already offer to an established and loyal client base within the salon.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of beauty products and trends. Strong communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and creativity. Be able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of beauty treatments, including gel nails, pedicures, waxing, massage, facials, eyebrow and eyelash treatments. Consult with clients via telephone, social media, email and in person for the benefit of your own treatments and the salon as a whole. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to offer innovative services. Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow. Promote products and services that enhance the client experience. Withhold and maintain the excellent reputation of the salon.

Experience

Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist either in a salon, spa, mobile or home environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to provide exceptional service to clients.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
