As a Beauty Therapist at Aurora, you'll provide personalised, confidence boosting treatments that help clients feel their best. From delivering professional therapies to creating a warm, relaxing environment, your work will have a real impact on the physical and emotional wellbeing of our visitors. You'll also collaborate with the team to promote our services, maintain high professional standards, and contribute to Aurora's fundraising and community activities.

Job title: Beauty therapist

Location: The Aurora Wellbeing Centre based at both Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Mexborough hospital sites.

Salary: 13,218 (FTE 24,785)

Hours: 20 hours per week to be worked across both sites

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to Beauty Therapy Lead

About Aurora

Offering services across three sites in Worksop, Doncaster and Mexborough Aurora Wellbeing offers a unique service bringing together health and heritage to provide support for local people affected by cancer, and long-term health conditions. We encourage people to be active participants in their wellbeing, working together to improve physical and emotional health.

Charity Core Purposes: 'The promotion of good health and wellbeing by assisting in the relief of symptoms and the improvement of the quality of life by providing supportive services to those who have been diagnosed with or affected by cancer and long-term conditions and providing support, information and education on the benefits of receiving complementary and holistic therapies as well as to build awareness of the links between heritage and good health and wellbeing, education and research of wellbeing to the general public as a whole.'

Main Purpose

The Beauty Therapist role at Aurora Wellbeing exists to provide compassionate, confidence-boosting beauty treatments for people affected by cancer, long-term health conditions, and the wider community. By delivering personalised, holistic therapies in a safe and supportive environment, the therapist helps individuals feel relaxed, valued, and empowered throughout their wellbeing journey.

Be responsible for helping clients make the most of their physical appearance and more importantly help them feel relaxed and as confident as possible about themselves Provide a high degree of professionalism throughout the sessions, adhering to confidentiality protocols Provide a safe, warm and relaxing environment, whereby clients feel able to open up Signpost clients to appropriate services when necessary Contribute to Aurora's non-clinical environment by helping create a relaxed and welcoming space for all visitors to feel valued and safe, where their concerns can be heard, and relationships can be maintained. Maintain effective records in line with GDPR requirements and adhere to all Aurora policies and procedures. Liaise with the social media comms team to promote Aurora's beauty therapy service Contribute to Aurora's fundraising activities throughout the year
