The Guinot Salon Maidenhead

A professional Skincare Salon for men and women inside David Lloyd Maidenhead offering expert Facials and Body Treatments, Waxing and Nails.

We are a well established, high quality Beauty Salon in the centre of Maidenhead, a town currently undergoing a major regeneration programme. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a friendly, professional Beauty Therapist, qualified to the equivalent of NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy. The role is ideally suited to someone who is looking for flexible part-time employment with the option to increase hours as the business continues to grow. An interest and passion for the industry are important, as is the ability to put clients at ease and be able to confidently discuss their beauty requirements and carry out treatments.

A high level of skill is necessary for Massage, Facials, Waxing, Tinting and Nails. If you have already trained with Guinot, that would be an added bonus but not essential as full training will be provided in all of their products and treatments. We are located within a gym and so candidates need to be comfortable treating men and women. The successful candidate will have access to all the gym facilities and an interest in fitness and wellbeing would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences. Perform beauty treatments to a high standard, in accordance with client specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with clients to explain services and recommend products. Stay updated on treatments and products to enhance service offerings. Uphold NVQ standards in all treatments and interactions.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
