SpaOptions is a new and modern aesthetic and beauty clinic located in the heart of Southend-On-Sea High Street. We pride ourselves on offering a wide range of professional beauty, nail, and aesthetic treatments in a welcoming and stylish environment. We are a small, friendly team passionate about client care and high standards of service, and we are looking for a skilled Beauty Therapist/Nail Technician to join us.

Role Overview

We are seeking a

qualified and experienced Beauty Therapist/Nail Technician (NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent)

with at least one year of salon experience. The ideal candidate will be confident in both beauty therapy and nail services, demonstrate excellent client care, and be committed to providing a professional, high-quality experience for every client.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of beauty and nail treatments including: Acrylic Nail Extensions, BIAB Nails, Gel Polish, Nail Art & Designs Waxing (including intimate waxing) Threading, Eye & Brow Treatments, Tinting Facials & Massage Manicure & Pedicure Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work area at all times. Provide professional advice on treatments, aftercare, and recommended products. Create a welcoming and relaxing environment, tailoring treatments to client needs. Stay up to date with the latest beauty and nail trends and techniques. Assist with promoting salon services, products, and special offers. Support salon reception duties, including bookings and client management. Ensure compliance with salon health and safety policies. Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored recommendations for treatments. Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.

Qualifications & Skills

NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy / Nail Technology (or equivalent) - required

Minimum

1 year salon experience

(preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills (fluent in English) Attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent treatments Ability to work under pressure and accommodate walk-in clients Knowledge of advanced beauty treatments is an advantage but not essential Strong customer service skills to ensure a pleasant experience for clients. Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to maintain professionalism and composure. A passion for beauty therapy and a commitment to continuous learning within the industry.
