Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Beauty/Laser Therapist to join our team at Dermalite Skin Clinic. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing a range of beauty and laser treatments, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Beauty/Laser Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their skincare and aesthetic goals through various treatments, including laser therapies.

Responsibilities:

Perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, acne treatment, pigmentation treatment, scar revision, and other laser procedures. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skin conditions and develop personalised treatment plans. Administer beauty treatments such as facials, peels, microdermabrasion, and other skincare services. Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on skincare routines and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress. Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and equipment. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and treatment techniques related to beauty and laser therapies. Collaborate with the team to promote and market clinic/spa services and products. Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Certification or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, or a related field. Valid licensure as a Laser Therapist (if applicable) in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in performing laser treatments, beauty services, and skincare procedures. Strong knowledge of different skin types, conditions, and suitable treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused attitude and the ability to create a positive and comfortable environment for clients. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and demeanour. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred:

Experience with laser technologies and platforms. Additional certifications or training in advanced skincare techniques. Previous experience in a clinic, medical spa, or dermatology practice.
