BEC Shift Engineering

Role Description
Carry out set up, repair and maintenance on equipment and contribute to efficient job changes throughout the Brand Enhancement Department.
Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with Company Health and Safety Procedures in order to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and those around you. Carry out housekeeping as required in accordance with Company Hygiene Rules
  • Identify faults with machines and make necessary adjustments for it to run correctly to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Prepare cold end electrical equipment ready for the next job change to ensure that equipment meets specifications for the new job.
  • Take part in job changes, setting up and adjusting cold end equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations during and after the job change
  • Modify and adjust cold end equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations and minimise downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to maintain an effective well-informed team
Requirements
  • Gained a recognised mechanical/electrical engineering qualification/apprentice trained, or equivalent - essential.
  • Experienced craftsman
  • Ability to carry out any related work: basic welding, fabrication, pipe work installation.
  • Process familiarity with cold end work area and equipment
  • Inspection / Bottle transportation -
  • Fault recognition skills & good problem-solving ability
  • Understanding engineering drawings
  • Set up, Adjust, Repair, Dismantle/reassemble, Diagnose faults.
  • It / computer skills

  • Salary based on Grade 7 of the harmonised pay scales. Minimum of the grade \xc2\xa335,000, maximum of the grade \xc2\xa337,204
