Salary:

26,060 per annum (pro rata)

Full-time and part-time positions available

About the Role



As part of our highly skilled and supportive nursing team, you'll help provide outstanding palliative and end-of-life care in a calm, compassionate, and homely environment.

Our Bedded Unit cares for patients who may need support for a variety of reasons -- from symptom management and rehabilitation following treatment, to comfort in the final days of life. Our specialist team works collaboratively to ensure care is tailored to what matters most to each individual.

If you're successful in joining us, we'll support you to develop specialist palliative care skills through training, guidance, and mentorship.

What We're Looking For



To succeed in this role, you will have:

A good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above Level 3 NVQ in Care, Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification Experience working in a health or social care setting Experience in palliative care or oncology (or a willingness to learn -- full training provided) Compassion, empathy, and emotional resilience Strong communication and IT skills The ability to work flexibly as part of a rota system
This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including checks against the adult and child barred lists.

Working Hours



You'll work flexibly on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday, which will include a combination of the following shifts:

Long Day: 07:30am - 8:30pm Early: 07:30am - 3:30pm Late: 1:30pm - 9:30pm Night: 8:00pm - 8:00am
