Proudly manufacturing in Sheffield for nearly 50 years, we are the UK market leader in fitted wardrobes. We design, develop, manufacture and install a wide range of high quality bedroom furniture which is sold throughout the world.

We are currently recruiting Bedroom Surveyors/Remedial Fitters to support our installation team in the Hemel Hempstead area and across the South East.

Key Responsibilities

:

Responsible for surveying properties and taking accurate measurements in preparation for the installation of wardrobe systems. Provide a remedial service including undertaking basic wardrobe adjustments and other tasks which fully comply with the customer's specification and standards, whilst managing time effectively to ensure jobs are completed on time and in full. Collect and deliver any product required to complete remedial work ensuring product is suitably stored, secured and protected to minimise damage during transit. Maintain full compliance with all customer and company Health & Safety requirements including: PPE, RAMS, safety briefings and toolbox talks. Ensure a 'right first time' approach, carrying out all tasks to the highest standards as outlined in company standard installation guide, ensuring return visits and cost of poor quality are minimised.

Work Experience and Key Skills Required

Career experience in carpentry/joinery is essential. References from previous clients will be required. Experience of working on construction sites, occupied consumer homes and fitting furniture within the KBB industry (ideally wardrobes or something similar i.e. kitchens), where there is a high degree of focus on the quality finish of the product. Current CSCS card holder essential. Must have a full UK driving licence and own transport Must provide own basic tools Must be registered for CIS Must have public liability insurance up to a minimum of 2 million Must be flexible on working hours and be prepared to travel to various locations to meet the demands of the business. Pay rates: negotiated depending on service provided
