Aspira Education are recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils who have behavioural difficulties within the early years in a primary school in Boston.

This is a 5 day per week placement working 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday

About the Role



As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will:

Support pupils within small groups and on 1-1, using sports, movement breaks, and structured activities to help regulate energy and re-engage with learning. Build strong, trusting relationships through consistency, calm communication, and positive reinforcement. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain predictable routines and safe, supportive environments. Help the pupil develop resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement through active, hands-on strategies. Work in an inclusive school environment where every day brings opportunities to make a real impact.

What We're Looking For



We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as:

Sports coaching, personal training, boxing coaching, youth sports clubs, or outdoor activity leadership Behavioural support, SEMH roles, or outreach work Supporting energetic or neurodiverse young people in education or community settings
You don't need formal teaching qualifications or prior school experience, just the ability to stay calm under pressure, build rapport quickly, and use activity-based approaches to support behaviour.
