Care4ocus is currently looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated
male Behaviour Support Worker
to join a supportive school environment in the
Colindale area
.

Role Overview
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one and classroom-based support to pupils who require additional help managing their behaviour and engagement in lessons. You'll work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils in managing behaviour and staying engaged in class.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies with school staff.
Provide one-to-one or small-group interventions as required.
Support pupils with medical needs, including asthma and epilepsy management.
Promote positive relationships and a calm learning environment.
Record and report incidents in line with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain a professional, compassionate, and proactive approach at all times.
Essential Requirements
Male applicants only
(due to specific student support needs).
Minimum 1 year of experience working in the UK
with children, young people, or in a care complex company.
Experience in
asthma and epilepsy management
.
First aid trained
.
Valid Healthier Business Practical Training certificate
.
Excellent communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills.
Must be available
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
.
Must be able to commute to
Colindale, London
.
Must hold a physical Enhanced DBS certificate
and be
registered with the DBS Update Service
.
Reliable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality support.
Experience in special educational needs (SEN), youth work, or behavioural support.
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of classroom management strategies and safeguarding procedures.
Previous experience in a school or educational environment.
