The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled
Support Manager
to join our team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in managing student behaviour on a day-to-day basis, playing a key part in creating a positive and stable learning environment.
Reporting to the Support Team Lead, you will implement ongoing behavioural interventions and ensure effective communication is maintained throughout the school community. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively manage and support student behaviour, utilising de-escalation techniques in emotive or challenging situations.
Effectively communicate complex and sensitive information to students, staff, and families with empathy and clarity.
Provide consistent care, guidance, discipline, and encouragement to our students, acting as a positive role model.
Collaborate successfully with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student welfare.
Uphold and promote the values, mission, and vision of the Chiltern Way Academy Trust.

You are a compassionate and resilient individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. You have a proven ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism and can communicate effectively with a wide range of people. You are passionate about supporting young people and helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
