Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our workshop team. The role involves manufacturing and assembling timber sash and case windows, as well as carrying out general bench joinery tasks to support our projects. You will work closely with the manufacturing manager and wider workshop team to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely production.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and finish timber sash and case windows to specification. Carry out general bench joinery, including cutting, machining, sanding, and assembling components. Work from technical drawings and specifications with a high degree of accuracy. Operate and maintain a range of woodworking machinery (traditional and CNC). Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety practices. Assist with problem-solving and improvements in workshop processes.
Skills & Experience

Time-served joiner or proven workshop joinery experience. Strong bench joinery and assembly skills, ideally with experience in sash and case windows. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Competent in the safe use of woodworking hand tools and machines. Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
