Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various wooden structures and components. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the use of both hand and power tools. The Joiner will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on projects, including painting and installation tasks.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications. Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Carry out painting and finishing work to ensure a polished appearance. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with a strong understanding of carpentry principles. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Experience in fabricating wooden components for various applications. Familiarity with painting techniques for finishing work. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as chisels, saws, and drills. Competence in operating power tools safely and efficiently.. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
