? Operating woodworking machinery, including tenoning and spindle moulding.
? Manufacturing and assembly of high-quality windows and doors.
? Hanging doors, glazing, and installation of ironmongery.
? Reading and working from architectural plans and technical drawings.
? Rodding/setting out and marking up components accurately.
? Preparing sawn timber.
? Working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
? Undertaking manual lifting tasks.
Required Skills and Experience-
? Minimum 4 years experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment - particularly producing windows and doors. This can be a more junior role but applicants must have completed their apprenticeship and be proficient before applying. Please do not apply if you can't produce a sash from scratch independently.
? Ability to work with a variety of woodworking machinery - training will be provided.
? Excellent understanding of joinery techniques and methods, with willingness to learn.
? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
? High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.
Desirable Skills -
? Previous experience working on Grade listed or heritage joinery projects is an advantage.
? Ideally candidates will have their own hand tools (Chisels/Squares/Marking Gauges etc.)
