An excellent opportunity has arisen for Bench Joiners to join our team at John J Higgins
JJH Manufacture Timber doorset including Fire doorsets and Bespoke Joinery to a high standard
Main Responsibilities of the Job
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Manufacture and assemble joinery components.
Ability to read and interpret workshop/design drawings and schedules
To operate the required machinery including hand tools.
Ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
Ensure all paperwork is completed in line with Quality Management Systems.
Demonstrate knowledge of timber.
Carry out other duties as required.
Essential Criteria
Experience: Previous workshop experience
Attention to detail, excellent communication , strong organizational skills.
Personal Qualities: High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Desirable Criteria
NVQ level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in joinery would be desirable
