Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for working with both hand tools and power tools to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Perform joinery tasks, including cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople on site, including carpenters and masons. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Conduct heavy lifting as required during the assembly of larger structures. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Carry out painting tasks as needed to finish projects.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with masonry work is an advantage but not essential. Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail is essential.
